Vitinya

State reserve “Vitinya” is located in the western part of Stara Mountain about 40 km. from Sofia. 95% of the area is forest. The terrain is mountainous.

The main game is of red deer, roe deer and wild boar. There are two bases for intensive breeding of red deer, fallow deer and mouflon, and based on intensive use of wild boar.

In the farm is the only herd of Tibetan yaks in Bulgaria, which are also subject to hunting. Here is organized very good hunt of pheasant.

“Vitinya” has a hunting lodge, which has several separate rooms, dining room, game room with fireplace and impressive trophy room.

Vitoshko

State reserve “Vitoshko- studena” is located 25 km southwest of Sofia. Located on the southwestern slopes of Vitosha Mountain with a total area of 19,850 ha.

“Vitoshko-studena” offers comfortable accommodation in a hunting lodge – has 13 rooms and also in St. Ivan Rilski – kk. Borovets – Hotel complex.

Game species that are hunted in the area: deer, fallow deer, wild boar, mouflon, roe deer, brown bear, small game and predators.

Zhenda

Estate reserve “Zhenda” is located in the Eastern Rhodopes, about 250 km. from Sofia. The relief is Low Mountain.

The hunting includes: deer, wild boar, fallow deer and muflon. The population of muflon is one of the best in the country.

Rositsa

State reserve “Rositsa” is situated 220 km. from Sofia, on the northern slopes of Central Stara Mountain.

The farm has many years’ experience in hunting tourism. Hunting lodge has been completely renovated with the possibility to host more than 15 hunters. Available elite shooting trophies of brown bear, red deer, roe deer and wild boar. For the farm is a traditional hunting and wolf. “Rositsa” also offers fishing, horse riding with the elite race horses and photo- hunting. There are a number of trophies shot awarded with multiple points.

Rusalka

State reserve “Rusalka” is located in the southern part of the Lovech region, municipality Apriltsi town. The property is surrounded by the main ridge of the Central Balkan Mountains, surrounded by peaks Jaltets, Botev and Zelenikovets. Forests make up large forest complexes, separated by rivers Vidima, Ostreshka and their numerous tributaries. The terrain is mountainous with a strong character. The highest peak in the region is the highest peak in Stara mountain – Botev peak (2376 m.), which is located outside the forest in the high pastures. In the farm successfully hunt deer, wild boar, and brown bear. Hunting residence consists of a dining room, tavern, 3 suites and 4 double rooms, each with its own bathroom.

Sherba

State reserve “Sherba” received its name from the eponymous region, located in the heart of hunting. “Sherba” is located in the Eastern Balkan Mountains, 75 km from Varna airport. The terrain is mountainous. Deciduous trees predominate.

Major game species on the territory are: red deer and fallow deer, roe deer, wild boar and mouflon. “Sherba” offers trophies of deer over 9 kg., Mouflon than 70 cm. Successfully are hunted pheasants and woodcocks. Among the predators are hunted: jackal, fox and wild cat. Proofs of good catches are earning gold medals at CIC deer – 239.77 points, wild boar – 141.15 and mouflon – 217.00 p.

In “Sherba” there are two hunting lodges. The farm offers ecotourism, photo-hunting, sport fishing and visits the Northern Black Sea coast.

Shiroka polyana

“Shiroka polyana” is located in Western Rhodopes only 190 km. from Sofia and 100 km. from Plovdiv.
The main game species that inhabit the region of “Shiroka polyana” are: red deer, roe deer, grouse, wild boar, chamois, bear, fox and rabbit.

Izvora

State reserve “Izvora” is located in Devin, about 200 km from Sofia and about 80 km from Plovdiv. The landscape of the farm is typically mountainous, dominated by rugged terrain.

The area is inhabited by chamois, red deer, fallow deer, mouflon, roe deer, wild boar, capercailzies. From predators: bear, wolf, fox, wild cat, otter, marten, badger and pine marten. From the birds are found: grouse, wood-pigeon, dove, quail and others. From the raptors can be found: golden eagle, small and great spotted eagle, buzzards, hawks and kestrels. Of the night raptors: owl, forest eared owl and others. The farm offers fishing and ecotourism.

Hunting lodge “Devin” has five double rooms with private bathrooms, kitchen with dining room, coffee bar and restaurant.

Karakuz

State reserve “Karakuz” is located in the Danube valley – in the hilly southern Dobrudja. “Karakuz” is 450 km from the capital Sofia and the nearest airport is in Varna – 130 km.

Mainly are hunted: deer, roe deer, wild boar, hare, jackal, fox, wild cat, geese, ducks, pheasants, pigeons and quails. World record deer, estimated at 273.6 points in the CIC, was obtained in 1988 in the area of the reserve.

Mazalat

State reserve “Mazalat” is located in the Central Balkan Mountain, 220 km. of Sofia, near by the famous Bulgarian Kazanluk Rose Valley. The terrain is typical mountain.

In the mountainous part of hunting “Mazalat” are hunted red deer, roe deer, wild boar, bears and wolves. The lower part of providing an opportunity for pheasant, rock partridge, rabbits and migratory birds. The farm has a breeding farm for pheasant and partridge Thracian.
