State reserve “Balchik” is situated in the southeastern part of the Dobrudja. The distance to Sofia airport is 450 km and to Varna airport – 45 km.
The main game species that inhabit the territory of the farm are: red deer, fallow deer, roe deer, wild boar, and mouflon. The heaviest trophy deer – 19,100 kg. Mouflon were shot with a length of 82-84 cm horns, boar tusks length – 24- 26 cm, and the best trophy deer is estimated at 148.3 points.
“Balchik” has a hunting lodge, located in the central part of the farm. There are 4 bedrooms with private bathrooms, dining room and kitchen.
Near to the farm are the famous sea resorts “Albena” – 15 km. and “Golden Sands” – 30 km.
