State hunting ground “Chekeritsa” is located in Plovdiv field, 22 km northeast of Plovdiv and 150 km from the capital Sofia. The terrain is flat. Virgin nature and peaceful area protect the natural habitat of the: brown bear, deer, wild boar, capercaillie, roe deer and chamois. The richness of wildlife is also represented by partridge, pheasant, rabbit, fallow deer, mouflon, and all migratory game species. Hunting for big and small game can be combined within one hunting day.
Hunting farm has three bases: hunting residence “Chekeritsa” has two suites and four double rooms, near the headquarters of the farm house, hunting “Chekeritsa” has five double rooms, close to the administration and the holding hunting lodge, “Tamrash” has a twin room, one double room, separate studio and four separate apartments.
In the mountainous part of the farm was built horse riding, providing opportunity for alternative tourism. Nearby are many historic sites, cities and monuments. Some of them are: Bachkovo Monastery, Plovdiv, Asenovgrad and others.
